About Us

We are a product company. Our brand is OpCenter, and we build true Operations Centers for mid-sized businesses with complex workflow.
We are Intuit Solutions Providers with the highest certifications in existence. AND we are Intuit Certified Silver Developers too. That means that we know QuickBooks' capabilities and can solve for its limitations.
Amazing UI: Our user interfaces are visually stunning and simple. Our maxim: software can either look like the cockpit of a plane, or the inside of a Lexus. In the former, there are so many buttons to flick that users are paralyzed with fear of hitting the wrong one, and need extensive training. In a Lexus, the complexity disappears under the hood.
Thus, we have no menus and use wizards to ensure people enter data step-by-step. Icons appear (and disappear) based upon roles and a need to know. Check out the iPhone navigation video or the Grant Management Videos and see for yourself. Dels Limo
Light footprint: Our software installs quickly. Our iPhone Server installs with a single click, in 1 minute 45 seconds, and uninstalls in less than 40 seconds. To appreciate the complexity, consider this: the server consists of a Java Runtime Environment, a SQL database, the QuickBooks SDK components, and our code!
100% clear IP: We use open source, and have written every line of code ourselves. The IP is owned 100% by us.
Extensive Documentation: Our products feature in-product, context-sensitive Help.
Nonstop innovation. We always use the latest technologies, and invest heavily in our people to keep them state of the art. To illustrate, our Grant Management software is written in Flex 3.3, which Adobe released only in March 2009!
Frequent Updates: On our iPhone app, we released 24 updates in 6 months. That's one a week! For our Grant Management software, we released 7 updates in 2 months. For our construction app, we finished the product and when Intuit evinced interest in adopting it as their construction vertical, re-wrote it from scratch but as "Lego" blocks. Sadly, the construction industry went south and Intuit went silent, but these "Lego Blocks" have become the foundation for startling systems.
Extensive testing of our products. Every release goes through the full battery of tests by a separate Quality Control team.
Speed: We release products at ever increasing speeds. It took us 2 years to finish the construction software, 4 months for the iPhone app, 2 months for the "QuickBooks in Spanish" app, and less than a month for the Grant Management app.
Support: We are fanatical about support. Every phone call is picked up by someone in the USA - users rarely go to voicemail. We jump on it right away, remote into the client machine to see the issue, and resolve the issue.
ProActive Support: We proactively support our customers. That means we continuously monitor the server and optimize the database so the systems (and our customers) keep humming. We install the updates so all customers are always on the latest version.
We understand Mission Critical. Our iPhone App server has been functioning without a blip or single customer complaint since the date of release: September 19, 2008, with thousands of users. Our iPhone app has never crashed. Our name is shorthand for Operations Centers - we fully expect to be treated like a utility, always on and always in use.
Mastery of complexity: Our founder is an MIT-trained Information Systems entrepreneur, and we wrap our arms around complexity like the 800-pound gorillas we compete against. As of today (0709) our OpCenter Viewer on the iPhone is the ONLY bridge between the QuickBooks desktop and the iPhone/iTouch.
ntegration with QuickBooks AND other financial packages. All transactions created within OpCenter are automatically posted to QuickBooks. If you have another standard financial package, we can integrate with that as well.
We choose our customers with care. We turn down business frequently since it is our belief that the sale is not the end, but the beginning of a relationship. We invite you to leaf through the testimonials - virtual case studies written by our clients. For us, there is only one true measure of success - would our customers recommend us to their friends and colleagues? We invest in the relationship, whatever it takes.
